From the base
1) Pick up the corded handset, or press speaker.
2) Listen for the dial tone.
3) Dial the number.
OR
1) Dial the number.
If pause is required, press the PAUSE soft key.
2) Pick up the corded handset, or press speaker.
Receiving a call
From the handset
1) Remove the handset from the cradle. (If AutoTalk is on, the phone will
automatically answer the call when you pick it up.)
2) Press talk/flash.
OR
If the handset is off the cradle, press talk/flash. (If AnyKey answer is turned on,
you can also press any key.)
From the base
Press speaker or pick up the corded handset.

•The base microphone is
located under the
base. Position yourself
as near to the base as
possible.
