Note Do not use the base and the handset keypads at the same time to place a
call on hold.
Your EXI 7926 allows you to mute your conversation from the base. This prevents the
party you are speaking to from hearing what you, or someone else in the room, is
saying.
For example, to use this privacy feature while using line 1.
1 Press . The
line 1
LED flashes red.
• You can hear the party on line 1, but they
cannot hear you.
2 When you are ready to continue your
conversation with the party on line 1, press
again. The
line 1
LED changes to green.
