Setting the clock
The clock on EXAI 985HS Answering System starts when power
is applied to the base. Follow these steps to set the clock to the
correct time.
1 Press and hold until a tone
sounds.
2 First, press or until the
correct day of the week is
announced. (Numbers
0 through 6
displays on the base as each day is
announced.) Press again to
select the day.
3 Next, press or until you
hear the correct hour setting.
Numbers
1 through 12 display on
the base as each hour is announced.
Press again to select the
correct time.
Press and hold
or to
quickly scroll through the
numbers on the display.
If you don't complete the
clock settting within two
minutes, the system
returns to standby.
When the answering
system is full, FL displays
on the base and the
system announces
“No Remaining Time”.
You should delete some
messages so that the system
can record new messages.
