Using the answering machine

In the
TS
(toll saver) position, if you have
new messages, the answering system
answers after two rings. If there are no
new messages, the system answers after
four rings. This way, when you call long
distance to check your messages, and
have no messages, you can hang up after
the second ring to save a charge.
Setting the toll saver switch
The ring time/tool saver switch sets your answering system to answer after two or
four rings.
