Initializing the IP Telephone
CAUTION! If you initialize the IP telephone, all settings return to default.
1. Press
3+6+9+Hold (simultaneously).
2. Press

Steps 4~6 are optional.
4. Press
FB01 to initialize the telephone’s function settings (LED On = initialize,
LED Off = don’t initialize). See “IP Telephone Function Settings” on page 109 for
details.
5. Press
FB02 to initialize LCD contrast setting (LED On = initialize, LED OFF =
don’t initialize).
6. Press
FB03 to initialize the telephone’s IP network connection settings (LED On =
initialize, LED Off = don’t initialize). See “IP Setup Instructions” for details.
Note When initializing an IP5122-SDC telephone, press FB4 to initialize the local
CO line setting.
7. Press
Hold again to complete the initialization process.
8. Go off-hook and hang up.
