(SPEAKERPHONE)
(VOLUME)
1 When you hear the phone ring,
• press (TALK) (or any key
except (OFF)) .
or
• pick up the handset from the
base phone if it is placed on
the base phone.
“TALK” appears on the display.
The LINE lamp on the base
phone lights up.
2 When you are done talking,
press (OFF) or replace the
handset on the base phone.
The display and the LINE lamp
on the base phone go off.
Receiving calls
Receiving calls through the speakerphone
When the phone rings, press (SPEAKERPHONE)
on the base phone.
The SPEAKERPHONE button and the
LINE lamp light up.
To adjust the speaker volume, press
(VOLUME)
or

When you are done talking, press
(SPEAKERPHONE) again.

If you have subscribed to the Caller ID service
The caller’s number and/or name appears on the display when you
receive a call (see page 38). If you receive a call by someone you do not
want to answer, press (OFF) to stop the ringer.
