When you use the CDDB function, the environment for the Internet
access is needed.
≥ Do not connect this unit to the PC until the installation is completed.
≥ Exit all the other application softwares which are started before
inserting the CD-ROM.
1 Start the PC and insert the CD-ROM
(supplied).
– The setup menu is automatically started.
(When it does not start, double-click
[autorun.exe] in the CD-ROM.)
2 Click the name of the software you want to install in
the setup menu.
• If you stop the installation by pressing [Cancel], the software may not
be properly operated.
Before Connecting to a PC for the First Time
(Installation)
When your OS is Windows 98SE or Me, the installation of the USB
driver is required before connecting this unit to a PC.

≥ When the message that informs the
absence of DirectX 8.1 or later appears,
install DirectX from the setup menu prior to
the installation of the software.
