2.7.5 Automatic Selection of Calling/Connected Line
Identification Presentation (CLIP/COLP)
Automatically selects the pre-assigned CLIP/COLP number on the called party's display. You can
assign 2 CLIP numbers and 2 COLP numbers per a group of CLIP/COLP assignment table. One
number is for business and other is for private. One group consists of 100 System Speed Dialling
(SSD) or 100 DDI/MSN numbers and Intelligent Call Handling (ICH) numbers. (Group 0: SSD & ICH
000-099, Group 1: SSD & ICH 100-199..., Group 4: SSD & ICH 400-499, Group 5: DDI/MSN & ICH
500-599, Group 6: DDI/MSN & ICH 600-699) In total there are 7 groups (0-6). SSD & ICH number
consists of 500 CLIP numbers (000-499) and 200 DDI/MSN numbers (500-699).
CLIP :
When making a call, you can let the other party see your pre-assigned identification number.
COLP :
When receiving a call, you can let the party calling you see your pre-assigned identification number.
To select an identification number to be displayed
• The number displayed on the called party's telephone is assigned by system programming.
Please ask your manager about this number.
• If you make an outside call without using SSD feature, the first CLIP assigned at Group 0
will be displayed on the called party's telephone.
• Please make a combination referring to the information below.
[726] is a station programming number for setting CLIP.
[727] is a station programming number for setting COLP.
The 4th number is a group number of CLIP/COLP assignment table.
The last number is to select the number to be displayed out of 2 on each assigned table.
For example, if you want to select Business CLIP 1 in Group 6, dial [726] [6] [1], the Private
COLP 2 in Group 3, dial [727] [3] [2].
