Press the desired base unit number using
buttons to .
• " " flashes.
• While the handset is searching for the base
unit, "–" flashes across the display.
• The number is assigned as the base unit
number for the handset.

Enter the base unit password using a 4 digit
number.
• The factory preset of the base unit password
is 0000. If you have changed the base unit
password (p. 47), enter the new password.

When finished, press (Program).
• A confirmation tone sounds.
• " " stops flashing.
• " " goes out and the handset is registered
in the base unit.
• The base unit number is displayed.
• The in use indicator ( ) on the base unit
goes out.
