A.3. Postprocessor orders: DIPOLE2I.ORDERS
This file is machine-generated. It is the input for EMPOST, and is regenerated on each iteration of the
optimizer. Sometimes it’s useful to hack this file up a little, e.g. to change a bitmap’s scale linear
to logarithmic scale, or to change a colour palette. To do this, make the change and call empost
directly from the command line:
empost dipole2i.orders outfile v5dfile
Files outfile and v5dfile are, respectively, the file containing the calculated scalar results (OUTPUTFACETFLUX,
INPUTFACETFLUX, MIDDLEFLUX, and DISS), and a dummy filename for when the Vis5D support is integrated into
empost.
Alternatively, you can change the input file (here dipole2i.par), run poems.cmd to generate a new orders file, stop the
simulation by pressing ctrl-break, and then run empost manually as above.
