hookflash signal to an outside CO line during a conversation.
To register a hookflash signal:

2. Press Flash. You hear recall dial tone.
3. Dial the hookflash signal You hear dial tone from
code _____ . another PBX or central
office (CO). Follow the
instructions given to you
by the outside source to
activate features or place
outgoing calls.
