Installing Prerequisites
1 Insert the CD with the ‘SW 6000 Version 5.3’
Software in the CD-ROM drive in the PC
IMPORTANT:
If the software is downloaded from the DIS web
site the folder ‘SW 6000 Installation’ must be
copied to C:\ before installation is started and the
installation must be started from the copied folder
(C:\SW 6000 Installation)
Click on the Setup.exe in the ‘SW6000 v5.3.xx\
SW 6000 Installation’ folder on the CD.
‘The install Shield Wizard’ will automatically
show a list of ‘Prerequisites’ required for running
SW 6000
Click ‘Install’ and continue clicking ‘Install’ until
you are asked if you want to install the SQL
server.
2 SQL Server 2008 Express Edition
Click ‘Cancel’ when asked if you want to install
the ‘SQL Server 2008 Express Edition’
Installing SW 6000
After installing the ‘Prerequisites’, the installation wizard continues by installing the SW 6000 Applications
3 Click ‘Next’
