█ Message Playback Speed
You can slow down the playback speed of Incoming Messages
(ICM). To change this setting (through the base only):
1. Press under the word Menu on the screen to display the
main menu list.
2. Press or to scroll to TAM setup and then press
under the word Select.
3. Press or to choose ICM Voice Slow and then press
under the word Select.
4. Press or to choose On or Off and then press
under the word Save.
█ Record A Memo
You can use the phone to record memo messages (each can be
up to 3 minutes). A memo can be useful as a short message
to another person in the household or as a personal reminder.
This memo will be played as a message.
Using the Base:
1. Press and the hold the MEMO key in standby mode. The
display will show Recording Memo and the recording will
start. Important: The MEMO key should be pressed and
held during the whole process.
2. Release the MEMO key to end the recording.
Using the Handset:
1. Press under the word TAM to display the TAM main
menu list.
2. Press up or down to select Memo and then press
under the word Select.
3. Begin recording your announcement. Recording will stop
automatically after 3 minutes or you can confirm and end
the recording by pressing under the word OK. During
the recording, the LCD will show “Recording”.
When a Memo is recorded, will appear on the LCD and
you can play the memo message back as you would play
answering machine messages back.
