The back-up battery is available separately and
ensures your Freestyle 1050 retains messages,
settings and stored phone numbers if there is a
mains power failure. If no battery is installed,
the
BATT LOW light comes on when the mains
power is switched on.
In the event of a power failure the back-up
battery will last for up to 6 hours.
Your Freestyle 1050 uses a compact aerial which
does not pull out.
If you do not have a modern-style telephone
socket, call Freefone 0800 800 150 and ask for
a BT engineer to come and fit the correct socket.
This is a chargeable service.
