Secrecy
You can use the Diverse 2011 to
place your caller on hold so that they
cannot hear you talking.
To obtain secrecy on an external call
• Press INT. Display shows your
handset’s internal number and
you hear the internal dial tone.
This allows you to talk to
someone in the same room,
without your caller hearing the
conversation. Instead, they hear
a tune.
• Press the
RCL button to resume
your telephone call with the
external party.
To redial one of the last five
numbers
The last five numbers dialled are
saved.
Press the
REDIAL button.
Press the
DOWN button to highlight
the number you want.
Press the
PHONE button to dial.
To redial the last number
Press the PHONE button.
Press
REDIAL. The number is
automatically dialled.

Making and receiving calls
To make a call
Dial the number you want.
Use the
CLEAR CHARACTER
button to correct any number you
press by mistake.
Press the
PHONE button.
The number is dialled.
Or
Press the
PHONE button.
You hear the dial tone.
Dial the number you want.
To end a call
Press the END CALL button.
Or
Simply replace the handset on the
base station or charger.
To answer a call
Press the PHONE button.
Or
Lift the handset off the base station
or charger.
The default setting is for an
immediate connection to callers when
lifting the handset from the base
station or charger. This is called
Auto Talk. It can be deactivated so
that you always have to press the
PHONE button to answer a call.
