What You Type Description
1 Enter 1 as the first suboption code for option 184.
4 The length of the argument that applies to this suboption. For
option 184, suboption 1, the argument is an IP address, which is
composed of four numerical fields (octets).
NOTE: The next four fields use 10.234.1.254 as an example IP address of the VCX
Primary Server. Enter the IP address of your primary server.
10 The first octet in the IP address.
234 The second octet in the IP address.
1 The third octet in the IP address.
254 The fourth octet in the IP address.
Configuring the IP Address of the Alternate VCX Call Processor
Suboption 2 of option 184 defines the IP address of the Alternate VCX
Call Processing Server. For each element in
Table 24, repeat steps 4 a, b,
and c, listed earlier in this topic. As you add each element, it appears in
the Current values list, above previously added values.
