VXI B200 Bluetooth Headset User Manual

Bluetooth Enabled Computers: Your computer must have either Bluetooth technology
built-in or have the addition of a Bluetooth adapter (also called a dongle). Range will
vary and is determined by the computer’s (or the adapter’s) Bluetooth specification.
Bluetooth Cellular Phones: Bluetooth cellular phones are compatible with the
BlueParrott B200 headset when the cell phone’s passcode is set to 0000. Please
consult your phone’s user manual to set the passcode. Bluetooth must be built into
the phone or you may use a Bluetooth adapter (also called a dongle).
MAXIMIZING RANGE
The range of communication distance between the BlueParrott B200 base and B200
headset is up to 75 feet.
Certain environmental conditions can inhibit radio wave transmission, such as metal
structured beams or other wireless technology inside a building. If range is less than
expected, try placing the base in another location. Headset audio quality will suffer
when you travel out of range. If this happens, simply move closer to the base.
The range of communication distance between the BlueParrott B200 headset and a
Bluetooth cellular phone or computer is approximately 33 feet. The range of com-
munication distance between the BlueParrott B200 base and a different Bluetooth
headset varies and is dependent on the range capabilities set by the headset manu-
facturer (usually up to 33 feet).
