Select the 6th digit position, change its setting from the assigned SELCALL
number to a space bar [-].

Aside from the Transmitter and Receiver lDs, you should also be familiar with some
of the other SELCALL Parameters. This section outlines the following programming
modes.
- Tune Period
- Lead-in Delay
- Lead-in Tone
- Alarm
RX SelcalllD, Tone Period, Lead-in Delay, Lead-in Tone, and Alarm Programming
are mentioned separately from the TXSELCALL Programming because they are not
frequently changed. Special procedures have been designed to prevent accidental
programming.
