Using the Menus
The menus are designed to be as easy as possible. Some users don't
even need the manual once they know how to perform these actions:
If you don't press any keys for thirty seconds, the phone times
out and exits the menu. (When setting the day and time, the
time-out period is extended to two minutes.)
Open the menu Press
MENU
.
Move the cursor
The cursor (the black bar with the white text) shows
which menu item is currently highlighted; when you're
entering characters, the cursor shows where you are in
the line.
Use
UP
to move the cursor up one line.
Use
DOWN
to move it down one line.
Use
PHONEBOOK/LEFT
to move it one space to the left.
Use
CALLER ID/RIGHT
to move it one space to the right.

Select an option Move the cursor to highlight the option, then press
OK
.
Return to the
previous screen
Press
BACK
. If you press
BACK
on the first screen, the
phone exits the menu.
Close the menu
On the handset, press
END
; on the base, press
MUTE/EXIT
.
(If you open the menu during a call, press
BACK
to back
out of the menu without hanging up.)
To open the menu,
