Number Stored
RocketDial
You can store your most frequently dialed number in the
RocketDial location. The RocketDial allows you to dial a
number with one key press. (There is no need to press the
talk/flash key. The phone will automatically dial the number
stored.) If you subscribe to voice mail service, store your
access number in this location.
Storing and Editing the RocketDial
1) When the phone is in the standby mode, press and hold the
RocketDial key. The following display appears.
If the Edit screen appears, there is a number already
stored. Press the
vol/ring/ or vol/ring/ key to select
¨
Edit Number¨. Then press the select key.
2) Store the number by following step 7 under "Storing Phone
Numbers and Names" on page 24.
3) Press the
select key.
You hear a confirmation tone, and ¨
Number Stored¨
appears. Memory storage is complete.
Making Calls with the RocketDial
When the phone is in standby mode, simply press the RocketDial key. The number
stored in the RocketDial memory location is instantly dialed.

Number stored in
RocketDial is
independent from
the numbers stored
in Memory Dial.
If RocketDial does not
have a stored number,
the handset will beep
rapidly, and the
phone will not dial.
