Remove the battery compartment cover by sliding it
down.

Plug the battery pack cord into its socket, observing
the correct polarity.

Insert the battery pack . Then close the battery
compartment cover.

Place the handset on the base unit. You can place
the handset with the dialpad facing up or down.
IMPORTANT
Charge the battery pack for at least 12 to 16 hours.
CALLER ID SERVICE
To use this feature, you must subscribe to the Caller ID service provided by your telephone company.

dial memory.

data, the LCD displays the message END.
If you select No, the LCD returns to the Caller ID data
screen.

Making a call with Caller ID data
To use this feature, you must subscribe to the Caller ID on Call Waiting service provided by
your telephone company.

Before answering a call, check to see that the
callers name and telephone number are displayed
on the screen. To switch to the waiting call, press
FLASH
.
The first caller is put on hold.

To switch back to the first caller, press
FLASH
again.
Note:
For long distance calls, you need a prefix 1 and the area
code. Press
L.D./1
and
LOCAL/3
to add 1 and the
area code before press
TALK
.
