This equipment is not designed for making emergency telephone calls when the power
fails. Alternative arrangements should be made to access emergency services.
This User Guide provides you with all the information you need to get the most from your phone.
Before you make your fi rst call you will need to set up your phone. Follow the simple instructions in
“Getting Started”, on the next few pages.
Some Telstra services such as SMS, Messagebank® and Calling Number Display may attract feature and usage charges.

Hearing aid?
Please note that the Telstra 7300 and 7300a works by sending radio signals between the base and
handset. These signals may interfere with some hearing aids, causing a humming noise.
