Handset ringer tone and volume
Press the volume up key or volume down
key (labeled as, the VOL/RING or
VOL/RING key) in standby mode to
select one of five ringer tones and
volume combinations.
Earpiece volume
Pressing the volume up key or volume
down key (labeled as, the VOL/RING or
VOL/RING key) during a call will
change the earpiece volume of the
handset. This setting will remain in effect
after the telephone call has ended.
Adjusting the handset ringer and earpiece volume
Temporarily mute ringer
If the handset is off the base, simply press the END key to
temporarily mute the incoming ring. The ringer will sound with the
next incoming call.
When you press volume up key (the VOL/RING key) to the maximum
mode or volume down key (the VOL/RING key) to the lowest mode,
an error tone sounds.
