Auto Talk Feature
The Auto Talk feature allows you to answer a call by lifting the cordless handset off
the charger without pressing [] or []. To use this feature, turn the feature ON.
The factory preset is OFF.
• In order to view Caller ID information after you lift up the cordless handset to
answer a call, leave the Auto Talk feature OFF.
LCD Contrast
You can select the LCD contrast (6 levels) on the base unit and the cordless
handset separately. The factory preset is level 3.
1 Press [CONF/FUNCTION].
2 Scroll to “Initial setting” by pressing
[] or [], then press [].
3 Scroll to “Auto talk” by pressing [] or
[], then press [].
4 Select “On” or “Off” by pressing [] or [].
5 Press the soft key ( ), then press [OFF].
1 Base unit: Press [FUNCTION/EDIT].
Cordless handset: Press [CONF/FUNCTION].
2 Scroll to “Initial setting” by pressing
[] or [], then press [].
3 Press [] at “LCD contrast”.
4 Select the desired contrast by pressing []
or [].
• The contrast will change.
• The number of steps indicates the contrast level.
5 Base unit: Press [] (Save), then press [EXIT].
Cordless handset: Press the soft key ( ), then press [OFF].
