Transferring calls,
conference calls
Outside calls can be transferred or a
conference call with an outside party can be
made:
– between 2 handsets (KX-TG3712/
KX-TG3722/KX-TG3822)
– between a handset and the base unit
(KX-TG3811/KX-TG3821 series: page 4)
1 During an outside call, press {INT} to put
the call on hold.
2 {r}: Select the desired unit. s {OK}
3 Wait for the paged party to answer.
L If the paged party does not answer,
press {BACK} to return to the outside
call.
4 To complete the transfer:
Press {OFF}.
L The outside call is being routed to the
destination unit.
To establish a conference call:
{MENU} s {r}: “Conference” s
{OK}
L To leave the conference, press {OFF}.
The other 2 parties can continue the
conversation.
L To put the outside call on hold:
{MENU} s {r}: “Hold” s {OK}
To resume the conference: {MENU}

1 During an outside call, press
{INTERCOM}.
When 2 or more handsets are
registered:
– To page a specific handset, enter the
handset number.
– To page all handsets, press z or wait
for a few seconds.
2 Wait for the paged party to answer.
L If paged party does not answer, press
{INTERCOM} to return to the outside
call.
3 To complete the transfer:
Press {SP-PHONE}.
L The outside call is being routed to the
handset.
To establish a conference call:
Press {CONF}.
L To leave the conference, press {SP-
PHONE}. The other 2 parties can
continue the conversation.
L To put the outside call on hold, press
{HOLD}. To resume the conference,
press {CONF}.
Answering a transferred call
Press {C} to answer the page.
