Handset settings
Memo alarm
An alarm will sound for 3 minutes at the set
time once or daily. 3 different alarms can be
set. A text memo can also be displayed.
Set the date and time beforehand (page 11).
1 Press $ (centre of joystick).
2 Select t, then press ,.
3 Select “Memo Alarm”, then press
,.
4 Push the joystick up or down repeatedly
to select an alarm (1 to 3), then press
,.
L Times and memos for previously set
alarms will be displayed.
5 Select an alarm mode, then press ,.
“Off”: Turns the alarm off. Press ,,
then press {ih} to finish.
“Once”: The alarm will sound once at
the set time. Enter the desired day and
month by selecting 2 digits for each.
“Daily”: An alarm will sound daily at
the set time.
6 Enter the desired hour and minute by
selecting 2 digits for each.
7 Press / repeatedly to select “AM”,
“PM”, or 24-hour time entry, then press
,.
8 Enter a text memo (32 characters max.,
page 49) and/or press ,.
9 Select the ringer that will sound at the set
time, then press , 2 times.
10 Press {ih}.
Note:
L To stop the alarm, press any dial key.
L When in talk or intercom mode, the alarm
will not sound until the call has ended.
L The alarm will sound at the set time even
when the ringer is turned off.
L If you select “Once”, the setting will be
changed to “Off” after the alarm sounds.

Ringer volume

5 Push the joystick up or down repeatedly
to select the desired volume.

Note:
L When the ringer volume is set to off, ~ is
displayed.
L When the ringer volume is set to off, the
handset will ring at the lowest volume for
intercom calls and when paged.
Vibration feature
If the vibration feature is turned on, the
handset will vibrate whenever a call is
received, the unit is paged, or when an
alarm sounds.
“On”: The handset will vibrate while ringing.
“Vib→Ring”: The handset will vibrate 4
times, then ring.
“Off”: Turns this feature off.

L 9 is displayed while the vibration
feature is turned on.
