Changing the handset name
The handset can be given a customized
name (“Bob”, “Kitchen”, etc.), this is useful
when you have multiple units.

Handset voice enhancer
You can turn the voice enhancer feature on
or off for the handset.

Handset Talking Caller ID
You can turn the Talking Caller ID feature
on or off for the handset.

Handset key tone
You can select whether or not key tones
are heard when keys are pressed. Key
tones include confirmation tones and error
tones.

Handset auto talk
When this feature is turned on, you can
answer a call by lifting the handset off the
charger without pressing {C}. The
speakerphone is automatically activated.

Note:
LIf you subscribe to Caller ID service and
want to view the caller’s information on
the handset display after lifting up the
handset to answer a call, turn off this
feature.
LIf you set the line selection mode from
“Auto” to “Line1” or “Line2” (page 48),
the auto talk feature will function for that
line only. If the other line receives a call,
the auto talk feature will not function.
Caller ID number auto edit
You can turn the Caller ID number auto
edit feature on or off.
