When the SPID entry is complete, the Teleset must be programmed.
The i2021Teleset can download the switch parameters, and/or can be
manually programmed.
MANUAL SWITCH DOWNLOADING
Switch parameters may be downloaded from the switch to the Teleset over
the ISDN line. A download can be requested up to three times in a five-
minute period. To download proceed as follows:
1. Press MENU, MORE, MORE, Config, MORE, MORE, and
ReqParam/RunSPM (depending on the switch) in order. A message
indicates a successful or failed download. If successful, the remainder
of the setup parameters need not be entered. These setup
characteristics include conference, drop, transfer and Call
Appearances. You must enter these parameters manually if the
download fails. Press MENU to return to the idle (power-up) screen.
MANUALLY PROGRAMMING CALL APPEARANCES
Take a look at the layout of the Line and Call Appearance keys. These (16)
keys are located on the far-right hand side of the phone. The upper-left-hand

or the switch is
programmed as a DMS-100

, the ReqParam softkey will
be displayed as RunSPM.
NOTE: If the Teleset has not linked with the switch, the display
will show “Layer 3 Not Initialized”, “Data Link Down” or
“Line Not Ready”.
