your Pocket LOOX.
This Pocket LOOX complies with the relevant safety regulations for data processing equipment. If
you have questions as to whether you can set up and operate the Pocket LOOX in the intended
environment, please contact you r sales point or our hotline/help desk. For additional safety
information please see the Safety Manual provided with your Pocket LOOX.

data loss or injuries.
• During installation and befo
re operating the keyboard, observe the instructions on
environmental conditions i
n the "Technical data" chapter.
• Connect the power adapter plug to the power adapter supplied. The power adapter plug
must never be plugged into a n electrical outlet w ithout the power adapter.
• The AC adapter supplied compl
ies with the requirements of the co untry in which you purchased
the Pocket LOOX. Make sure the
AC adapter is approved for the country in which it is used.
• The AC adapter may only be connected to an electrical outlet when the Pocke t
LOOX or the cradle is connected to the AC adapter.
• Do not use the AC adapter for o
ther devices.
• Do not use AC adapters which are not specially approved for this Pocket LOOX.
• You may only ope rate the Pocke
t LOO X w ith the AC adapter if the nominal voltage of
the AC adapte r (100 V to 240 V) m
atches the local main s v oltage.
• When transporting the device on a trip, observe the information in the section
"Traveling with the Pocket LOOX".
• Listening using a headset at
very loud volume, particularly over a long period of time,
can cause damage to your hear
ing. Fujitsu Siemens Computers will not be liable
for any damage to health res
ulting from improper use
