About Voice Mail
Mitel voice mail is an integrated component of the Mitel

5000 and Inter-Tel

Axxess

phone
systems. This user guide provides feature instructions for Unified Voice Messaging (UVM), and
Embedded Voice Mail voice mail system features. Use this guide as a supplement to your
endpoint user guide. Contact your voice mail administrator for more information about your
voice mail system.
Your voice mail account is an electronic mailbox that usually corresponds to your extension.
However, you can have a mailbox that does not correspond to an extension.
For quick reference, you can use the flowchart on page 18.
