Answer delay
Answer delay sets the number of times your BT Studio 4500 will
ring before the answering machine picks up your call. The default
setting is 6 rings. You can change this setting from between 2-9
rings or to time saver mode.

Remote access
You can operate your answering machine remotely from any
Touchtone™ phone by calling your BT Studio 4500 and entering a
4-digit security code.

If you have a voice mail service e.g.
1571 please ensure that the ring
delay is set to answer before the
voicemail service. Therefore, the
ring delay should be less than on
the voicemail if you want the
Studio 4500 answer machine to
answer calls.
