5 Enter the number you want to store
(up to 24 digits), then press > and select
DONE
— OR —
Select REDIAL (if available) to store the last
number dialed.
— OR —
Select PRIVATE to set Priority Ring and
Talking Caller ID features for blocked calls,
and go to Step 7.
— OR —
Press > and select UNKNOWN to set Priority
Ring and Talking Caller ID features for
unknown callers, and go to Step 7.
6 Store a name with the number by
following the directions in
“Store a Name with a Memory Number”
— OR —
Select DONE if you don’t want to store a
name.
7 Select YES to activate Priority Ring for the
number or call type you stored
— OR —
Select NO.
8 Select YES to record a Talking Caller ID
announcement for the number or call type
you stored, and follow the directions in
“Store a Talking Caller ID Announcement
with a Memory Number” on page 26
— OR —
Select NO.
9 If programming was successful, the
handset “chirps” and the screen displays
the memory location of the number or call
type you just stored.
To store more entries, begin again at
Step 4
