The display provides useful information on the status of your
VTECH VT 9151/VT 9155
answering device. Below are the descriptions of the display.

What it means:
No new messages in any mailboxes.
Total number of new messages in all mailboxes.
Memory is full, or total number of messages is
99.
During OGM/Memo recording, the message
window shows the length of the announcement
recording in seconds.
Recording time exceeds 99 seconds.
During message playback, the system shows the
current message number in selected mailbox.
The system shows the current volume level when
pressing the or keys.
During remote access code setting, the system
shows the current code.
System is in Announce-Only mode.
When any setting is changed to On or Off.
After power failure, the clock needs to be set.
System is answering a call or in remote operation.
The system is in program mode when MENU is
pressed or during initialization.
