Quick Setup Procedure
This example provides steps for configuring an IP telephone via terminal based
configuration (User interface) and the web browser based configuration. Both
UIP300 terminal interface and the web browser are used when modifying the
information for the operation of UIP300.
This example assumes that UIP300 is connected to a Televantage
® system.
The IP terminal must be configured, before the web browser is configured.
Terminal Configuration using UIP300
To access the Phone Configuration Menu and set up a telephone configuration:
1. Press Menu.
2. Use the ▲ or ▼ keys to access the Configuration menu, then press Select.
3. Use the ▲ or ▼ keys to access the Network Configuration menu,
then press Select.
4. When prompted to enter “Password” enter the password, then press Select.
