If You Are In A Area Where An FSK Signal Is
Not Available:
1. This unit will check your line for a stutter dial tone every
time you hang up or each time a call goes unanswered.
The MESSAGE indicator will flash when there is a mes-
sage waiting.
2. You may experience some delay in seeing the MESSAGE
indicator light up even though there are messages in your
mail box. This delay is due to regulatory matters and does
not indicate a problem with the unit.
This unit may not be activated or deactivated under certain
conditions. For example, when you retrieve your message from
an outside phone (not your own telephone number), the
MESSAGE indicator may not be canceled when you return
home. If you experience this situation, pick up the receiver
and hang up. The MESSAGE indicator will cancel.
Receiving Calls
1When the telephone is not
in use and a new call is re-
ceived, the display will
show the NEW symbol, the
phone number, the caller’s
name, and time and date of
the call for 20 seconds. The
RPT (Repeat) symbol will
appear if the call has come
in more than once.
2 After 20 seconds with no activity,
the display will default to the Stand-
By screen and remain on until an-
other call is received or a button is
pressed. This will show you the to-
tal number of calls stored and how many new calls that
have not been reviewed.
Reviewing Calls
1. When the NEW symbol is flashing on the Stand-By screen,
you have new incoming calls. Next to the NEW symbol is
the total number of new calls. Press the REVIEW UP ▲
or REVIEW DOWN ▼ button to review the incoming
stored calls.
2. The NEW symbol attached to each call will be removed
after you review the call.

Si vous demeurez dans une région où vous ne
pouvez pas recevoir de signal FSK :
1. Cet appareil surveillera votre ligne à la recherche d’un sig-
nal de tonalité court à chaque fois que vous raccrochez ou
qu’un appel demeure sans réponse. Le voyant “MESSAGE”
clignotera s’il y a des messages en attente.
2. Il se peut qu’il y ait un délai si vous voyez le voyant “MES-
SAGE” s’allumer, même s’il y a des messages dans votre
boîte vocale. Ce délai est causé par des questions de
réglementation et ne signifie pas qu’il y a un problème
avec cet appareil.
Cet appareil peut ne pas s’activer ou se désactiver dans
certaines conditions. Par exemple, lorsque vous récupérez
votre message à partir d’un téléphone externe (et non votre
propre numéro de téléphone), le voyant “MESSAGE” peut ne
pas disparaître lors de votre retour à la maison. Si cela se
produit, soulevez le récepteur et raccrochez. Le voyant “MES-
SAGE” sera annulé.
Recevoir des appels
1. Lorsque’un nouvel appel est
reçu et que le téléphone
n’est pas utilisé, l’inscription
“NEW” apparaît et le numéro
de téléphone et le nom de
l’appelant apparaissent à
l’affichage, ainsi que l’heure
et la date et ce, pendant 20
secondes. L’inscription “RPT”
(répétition) si l’appel vous parvient
plusieurs fois.
2. Si aucune action n’est prise dans les
20 secondes, l’écran d’attente ‘Stand-
By” apparaîtra jusqu’à ce qu’un autre
appel vous parvienne on jusqu’à ce
qu’un autre touche soit enfoncée.
Vous verrez inscrit à l’affichage le
nombre total d’appels reçus qui n’ont pas été visionnés.
Visionner les appels
1. L’inscription “NEW” clignote à l’affichage lorsque celui-ci
est en mode d’attente, pour vous indiquer qu’un nouvel
appel vous parvient. Vous verrez le nombre total de
nouveaux appels inscrit à côté du symbol ‘NEW’. Appuyez
sur la touche “REVIEW UP “▲” ou “REVIEW DOWN “▼”
pour visionner les numéros du répertoire de l’afficheur.
