Setting a Security Code or Personal Identication Number (PIN)
To play your messages from a remote location, you will need to enter a two-digit Personal Identication Number
(PIN) or PIN Code.
From the base From the handset
Press [clock/menu] twice. The current security
code appears on the base and it is announced.
Press [ /select] or [ /select] until the desired
number appears. Press and hold [ /select] or
[ /select] to quickly scroll through the numbers
on the display.
Press [set] to select the security code. A
conrmation tone sounds; the answering
machine announces the new security code.

Press the MENU soft key. Select the ANSW.
SETUP menu, and then the SECURITY CODE
submenu.
Enter a two-digit security code (01-99) using the
number keypad [0-9].
Press the OK soft. You will hear a conrmation
tone.
