Setting the Day & Time
If you do not set the clock on your answering machine, your messages may not have the correct time and date
stamp. You can set the day and time from the handset or the base.
From the base From the handset
Press [clock/menu].
Press [ /select] or [ /select] until the correct
day is announced and the corresponding number
([1] for Sunday, [2] for Monday, etc.) appears.
Press [set] to select the day.
Press [ /select] or [ /select] until you hear the
correct hour setting. The numbers 1 through 12
appear on the base as each hour is announced.
Press [set] to select the hour.
Press [ /select] or [ /select] until you hear
the correct minute setting. The numbers 00
through 59 appear on the base as each minute is
announced.
Press [set] to select the minute.
Press [ /select] or [ /select] until you hear
the correct AM or PM setting. The message
counter displays A or P.
Press [set] to select the AM/PM setting. A con-
rmation tone sounds, and the day and time are
announced for your review.

Press the MENU soft key. Select the GLOBAL
SETUP menu, and then the DAY & TIME
submenu.
Press [ ] or [ ] to select the day of the week,
and then the soft key.
Press [ ] or [ ] to select hour, and then the
soft key.
Press [ ] or [ ] to select minute, and then the
soft key.
Press [ ] or [ ] to select AM or PM, press the
SAVE soft key. You will hear a conrmation tone.
