From the base
1) Press /flash or the LAND soft key.
For Mobile line connection, press the MOBILE soft key. Use
the up/down key to select the Mobile phone you want to use
and press the CONNECT soft key.

If you need the phone to pause before dialing more digits (for example, to enter
an access code or extension), press menu/select, and select
Pause Entry
from
the list.

appears in the display, which represents a 2-second pause.

up/down key to select the Mobile phone you want to use and press the CONNECT
soft key.
Receiving a call/AutoTalk set to Off

1) Remove the handset from the
charging cradle.
2) Flip the top panel up.
3) Press talk/flash or the corresponding
soft key (LAND or MOBILE).

•If Open to Answer is
on, the phone will
automatically answer
the call when you flip
the top panel up (see
page 25 for setting).
•If Any Key Answer is
on, you can also press
any number key on the
keypad to answer a call
(see page 25 for
setting).
•If you set mobile
priority on the base or
a handset, it will
automatically connect
to the priority mobile
when you press the
MOBILE soft key.
•Make sure the Auto
Answer feature on your
Bluetooth mobile
phone is turned off. If
AutoAnswer is on, your
mobile may answer the
call and interrupt your
ELBT595. If this
happens, the ELBT595
will place the call on
hold.
