Symptom Suggestion
The Caller ID does not
display.
The call was placed through a switchboard.
Call your telephone provider to verify your Caller ID service is current.
There may be a problem with your Caller ID service.
You cannot register the
handset at the base.
Charge the battery pack in the handset for 15-20 hours.
Change the Digital Security Code (see page 51).
Make sure you have not stored 10 handsets already.
The handset doesn’t commu-
nicate with other handsets.

Make sure that you have registered all handsets.
An accessory handset can’t
join the conversation.
Make sure there are not 2 handsets already using the conference feature.
Make sure that another station is not in privacy mode.
The Room Monitor feature
does not work.
Make sure to place the handset(s) within range of the base.
