Step 5: Connect and Apply Power
Base Unit
1. Plug the AC adapter cord into the AC adapter
input jack on the base unit (shown at right).
2. Plug the AC adapter into a standard 120VAC
wall outlet.
3. Check to see that the power LED is on.
Charging Unit
1. Plug the AC adapter cord into the input jack on
the charging unit (shown at right).
2. Plug the AC adapter into a standard 120VAC wall
outlet.
3. Check to see that the
CHARGE LED is on.
Note You can place the handset in the charging unit
with or without the belt clip attached.
Important!
• Use only the supplied AC adapter.
• If the CHAR GE LED on the charging unit and/or
the
POWER LED on the base unit do not light,
return everything to your Authorized Dealer.
• Always route the power cord where it is not a trip
hazard, and where it cannot become chafed and
create a fire or electrical hazard.
