When you dispose of your CLIÉ handheld, remove the battery for recycling.
How to remove a rechargeable button battery
Note
Remove the battery only when you dispose of your CLIÉ handheld.

Remove the screw from the side
of your CLIÉ handheld with a
Phillips screwdriver.

Remove the battery cover.

Pull the ribbon attached to the
battery.
4
Take out the battery by pulling the
ribbon.
Do not damage the removed battery.
