correct number. The phone will then dial the number.)
If the phone asks you, "Did You Say," followed by an
incorrect number, say No. (If there are other alternatives, the
phone will prompt you with the next one. You can also press
the navigation key up or down to select the correct number
from the Choice List, and then press to dial.)
3. Alternatively, you can call a person in your Contacts by
saying the full name of the person you want to call, exactly
as it is entered in your Contacts. (The phone plays the name
through the earpiece and displays it on the screen.)
If you said a name listed in your Contacts that has more
than one number associated with it, the phone displays the
different locations (Home, Work, Mobile, Pager, Other)
and asks you which one to dial. Say one of the location
names and the phone will dial the number for the location
you specified.
Note: In some cases, the phone might ask you to repeat a name or
number. Make sure that the number is a valid 7, 10 or 11 digit North
American phone number, and then say the number again. If the number
isn't valid, or if the phone still doesn't understand the number on the
second try, it will not place a call.
Send Text <Name>
Send Text <Name> lets you start composing text messages for any
person in your Contacts or to a phone number.
To compose a text message using Voice Services:
1. Activate voice recognition by pressing and holding .
(The phone will prompt you for a command.)
