Problem Cause Remedy
The TAD does not
respond to remote
commands.
You entered an incorrect
remote operation security
code.
Carefully re-enter
your remote opera-
tion security code. If
the TAD fails to re-
spond, the security
code might have re-
set to the default
code. Enter the de-
fault remote security
code (028).
AC power failure. Make sure that AC
power is restored
and the 12V DC
adapter is properly
connected to the
TAD.
The TAD sounds three
short beeps (instead of
three long beeps)
when you access it by
remote.
The OGM is too short to allow
remote access.
Record a new OGM
at least 2 seconds
long.
