7.1.7 Call using Direct Access
Memory
Press a number key 3 to 9 for more
than 2 seconds to dial a stored direct
access memory number.
• In multihandset packs, each handset
has its own direct access memories.
• See section 8.6.7 for instructions on
how to store, edit, and delete direct
access memory numbers.
7.1.8 Enter a Dialing Pause
Long press # to enter a pause in the
dialling sequence. The pause is indicated
by a P.
7.2 Answer a call
When the handset rings during an
incoming call, please do not hold the
handset too close to your ear as the
volume of the ringing tone may damage
your hearing.
When the phone rings, press the t
key.
• The call is established.
• Incoming call has priority over other
events. Whenever there is an
incoming call, other status in progress
such as phone setting, menu
navigation, etc will be aborted.
You can mute the ring tone of an
incoming call before answering by
pressing on c Silent.
7.2.1 Handsfree answering
Handsfree activation can suddenly
increase the volume in the earpiece to a
very high level. Make sure the handset is
not too close to your ear.
When the phone rings, press l.
• The handset loudspeaker is activated.
7.3 End a call
To end a conversation, press h.
• The call ends.
When auto hang-up is on, you can simply
place the handset back to its base station
or charger to end the call. This feature is
activated by default.
The call duration (MM:SS) will be
displayed on the handset screen for
about 5 seconds.
