When you operate this product, the power outlet should be near the product and easily accessible.

If you want to connect an answering machine to the unit, see page 42 (KX-FP181 only).

Telephone line connection is TNV (Telecommunication Network Voltage).

You can connect an extension telephone or answering machine to the external telephone jack (EXT) on
this unit (p. 42, 47). A voltage drop of 1.15 V at 40 mA will be introduced between the EXT jack and the
B.T. socket. If you have difficulty in making a call or experience problems during a telephone conversation,
consult your dealer or our service personnel.
