n Call alert Side tone
When the CAL key is pressed, the call alert tone will sound
through your own speaker as well.
To turn the Call Alert Side Tone on or off, on your own
transceiver:
1 With the transceiver power OFF, press and hold the
MENU key while turning the transceiver power ON (for
1 second).
2 Press the or key to select “ ”.
3 Press the MENU key then press or to select
“
” (Call Alert Side Tone is on) or “ ” (Call Alert
Side Tone is off).
4 Press the MENU key to exit the selection.
5 Press the PTT, MON, or CAL key to exit Setting Mode.
