Changing the wait-for-dial tone
pause
If you include a pause in a telephone number there will be a
pause during dialling at that point to wait for the dial tone.
You can adjust the length of the pause.
The standard pause is 3 seconds. You can reset this to
from 1 to 6 seconds:
1. Press then the R key for 2 seconds.
Four dashes are displayed.
2. Enter the PIN code of the home base station
(default is 1111).
Two dashes are displayed.
3. Enter 62.
The current pause length is displayed.
4. Enter a number (1 - 6) to select the length of the
pause in seconds.
5. Press and then .
The wait-for-dial pause is now changed.
To include a pause in a telephone number, press
and then 2. A dash marks the pause. The home base
station will wait for the duration of the wait-for-dial
tone pause.
Setting a hot line
You can set the cordless phone so that pressing any key dials
a certain number. This means that if any key is pressed, for
example by a small child, the same ‘hot line’ number will
always be dialled.
Setting the hot line number and switching it on
Set the hot line as follows:
1. Press and then press for 2 seconds.
If the programming security for the cordless
phone is on four dashes are displayed. If so enter
the PIN code for the cordless phone (default is
0000).
2. Two dashes are displayed.
3. Enter 53.
If a hot line has already been set this will be shown
on the display. You can delete it using the C key.
4. Enter the number.
You can delete the last digit using the C key.
5. Press and then press .
The hot line function is now on.
