charger has two(2) round
connectors which enables

3.Plug the wall charger intoelectrical outlet.

radio is nowin LISTENINGMODE,
ready toreceive transmissions.The radiois always
in LISTENING MODE, exceptwhen the TALK, CALL
or MODE buttons arepressed.
To Turn Your Radio Off:
Pressand hold the POWER button.
Battery Low Indicator
When battery poweris low,
the BATTERY LOWindicator
will blink, indicating that
batteries should berecharged
or replaced.
WARNING:Only the supplied
NiMH batteries
can be recharged.
Battery/Power Saver
If there are notransmissions
within 10seconds, theunit
will automatically switchto
Battery SaveMode and
POWER SAVER willappear in
the display. This willnot affectthe unit’s ability
to receive incoming transmissions.
Communicating with
Another Person
1. Press and holdthe TALK
button.
2. Withthe microphoneabout
5 cm (2inches) fromyour
mouth, speak ina normal
voice.
3. Release thebutton when
you have finished talking
and listen fora response.
Youcannot receive incoming
calls while pressing theTALK button.
NOTE:Both radios mustbe tuned tothe same
channel and privacy codeto communicate.
