To select a base station
If a handset is registered to
more than one base station you
can select which base your
handset will use.
For more information on
registering your handset to
another base, see page 31.
Press the ߜ button to enter the
menu.
Use the DOWN button to
scroll to Setup and press the
ߜ button.
Use the DOWN button to scroll
to Select Base and press the
ߜ button.
Use the UP or DOWN button
to select the base you want
(BASE 1-4).
Press the ߜ button. You will
hear a confirmation beep.
If you change the base station
PIN, keep a record of the new
number by writing in the space
provided on page 9. You will
need to use your base station
PIN for registering handsets
and for some other optional
settings.
Press the ߜ button to enter the
menu.
Use the DOWN button to
scroll to Setup and press the
ߜ button.
Use the DOWN button to
scroll to PIN Code and press
the ߜ button.
Display will show PIN Code?
Enter your 4-digit PIN (original
setting 0000).
Press the ߜ button. Display will
show NEW Code?
Enter your NEW 4-digit PIN.
Press the ߜ button. Display will
show Confirm Code.
Enter your NEW 4-digit PIN
again.
Press the ߜ button. You will
hear a confirmation beep.
Press and hold the
✘ button to
return to standby.
