The Q90D is designed to let people who are
Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing or Speech Impaired
communicate via cell phone or anywhere
there is a land line:
- By allowing two TTY users to type
messages back and forth instead of talking
and listening
- By allowing a TTY user to communicate
with a non-TTY user (using a Relay Service)
- As a Voice Carry Over (VCO) phone
for people who can speak, but cannot
hear, and wish to use their voice to
communicate.They can see the text of
an incoming response displayed with the
help of a Relay Service.
- In Hearing Carry Over (HCO) mode which
allows the user to hear the incoming
conversation through an accessory speaker
or headset and to type the outgoing
conversation
The Q90D has been custom-engineered with
an unprecedented array of features to provide
years of convenience and assistance. It is
stylish, lightweight, portable, fully-featured,
and yet, easy to use.
- The Q90D works with the TSB-121
compatible digital cell phones for
communication any time, anywhere. It may
also be used with many cordless phones.
- It has a bright visual ring flasher which
announces incoming calls, including cellular
or mobile phone calls.
- The 68-key PC style keyboard uses
one-touch buttons for typing and commonly
used phrases.
- It contains a text answering machine with
two pre-programmed personalized greetings
and remote message retrieval for easy use.
